Palais Villa Talaa Resort

We ended up extending our stay by a night because the quiet here felt so rare, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. The room was comfortable, especially the bed, and the pool was a welcome break from the heat. We also appreciated being able to do laundry. The garden, roof terraces, rooms and decor have all been carefully put together. You can see the interior architect's work in how the decoration fits the architecture. My one reservation was breakfast. It felt too simple for a place like this, and we had better breakfasts at some of the hostels on our trip.

Room 4 had its shower in the original Hamam, which made for a really spacious and unusual shower experience. We stayed here on the way back from our desert camp in Merzouga, and the place was well worth the short trip outside Taroudant, about 5 km away. The renovated castle is beautiful, with huge rooms, lovely decoration, a lush garden and a big pool. Breakfast and dinner were great, and the staff were super friendly. A must-stay on a visit.

Breakfast by the swimming pool, with fresh air coming down from the mountains, was unforgettable. The room was spotless and had everything thought through for comfort: air conditioning, hot water anytime, WiFi, soft lighting, comfortable furniture, a mini fridge and a sofa. There's free secure parking on site, too. Domaine Talaa is a real treasure in the peaceful countryside around Taroudant, with clean air and a relaxing feel, yet close to the old city, sometimes called the little Marrahech. The complex is worth discovering, with well-equipped, beautifully decorated rooms in traditional Moroccan style. It feels like a unique creation that helps you unwind and leave daily stress behind. The staff were wonderful and helpful. Mohamed Ali, the manager, welcomed me warmly, always had a sincere smile and was available whenever needed. He did everything to make my stay comfortable. The manager checked in with us each morning to ask if we were happy and had slept well. That care, and the hospitality from the whole staff, made the visit feel special. We went in the off season and still had a wonderful five nights. The rooms were huge, immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the accommodation felt exquisite. The food was delicious. It had the friendliness of a welcoming home while still feeling like a palace, with luxury and a real local feel. It was a lovely experience and a true haven. I can't recommend the villa enough. We'll definitely return. 10/10.
