Hotel Ambassador Monaco

I keep coming back for the price and the location. The port is under a 10-minute walk away, and the restaurant attached to the hotel is easily one of Monaco’s top three pizza places. It’s fairly cheap by Monaco standards. It’s not glamorous, but it does the job when I’m here on business.

The front desk staff made our wedding trip feel special. When one lovely receptionist heard we were getting married at a church in Monaco, she upgraded us for free to a larger, more comfortable room than the one we’d booked. We stayed at Hotel Ambassador for two nights, and the room was clean with excellent housekeeping. The hotel could use a few small updates, but it has kind staff, a warm atmosphere, and a great location. The price was very reasonable for Monaco, and I don’t think you’ll find anything else nearby in the same range. Thanks for making our special trip even better!

A basic hotel in a good spot. It’s an easy walk from the train station, though iPhone Maps doesn’t account for the different walking levels, public lifts, or pedestrian tunnels, so be warned. They also don’t respond to email questions.

The room and facilities were only average for cleanliness, and the hotel itself felt mediocre. Breakfast was quite simple, and the man at reception wasn’t very helpful.
