8/10
The room was spotless, and the valet service was quick and efficient. We were very happy with our stay at this affordable hotel in a quiet part of Monaco, about an eight-minute drive from the main harbor and Old Town. The views over the Rose Gardens were lovely. I think it deserves more than its three stars.

We liked the clean rooms, comfy beds, and the views, but the stay was just fine rather than great. The shared pool serves several apartment buildings in the neighborhood, so it felt like a public pool and was quite crowded. Breakfast was disappointing too, with few fresh options and an extra charge for an egg. That’s not what I expected in Monaco.

4/10
The staff were friendly, but the €617 we paid for a standard room with a sofa bed still didn’t feel worth it, even allowing for New Year’s Eve pricing. The windows were small and there wasn’t much natural light, which felt depressing. It’s also a bit far from restaurants.

10/10
The location was a real plus: close to the harbor and restaurants, yet quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the hotel felt elegant without being stuffy. Staff were friendly and professional throughout. As a Hilton Diamond member, I got a warm welcome at check-in and the front desk went above and beyond, upgrading me by two categories to a lovely, spacious suite. It was stylish and comfortable, with a great view and thoughtful touches. My stay at Columbus Hotel Monte-Carlo was one of my best Hilton experiences. Everything exceeded expectations, and I can’t wait to return.

The balcony had beautiful views, and the room was tastefully decorated and spotless. We could walk to the local centre and bus stops, and the hotel’s free shuttle was very convenient. The welcome from the friendly staff set a lovely tone from the start. We were celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday and were delighted by the complimentary room upgrade. It was a thoughtful surprise that made our stay at Columbus Hotel Monte Carlo even more memorable. Everything exceeded expectations, and we’d highly recommend it. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
