As someone who often travels alone, I’m used to being the only one like me in the room. At the Hôtel Hermitage, I felt like an honored guest, and the kindness and inclusion made this a real sanctuary. Anna at the front desk and the rest of the staff were wonderful and intuitive. When they sensed I wasn’t fully happy with my first room, they promptly offered a beautiful sea-view upgrade so I’d be comfortable. I chose to stay in my suite, but the thought behind their offer stayed with me. The breakfast team and the gentleman who helped me throughout the stay, whose name I wish I’d caught, were incredibly attentive and made each morning feel like a celebration. As a woman of color, I felt respected, celebrated, and genuinely cared for. I left feeling restored and deeply valued.

Giuseppe at reception gave us a warm welcome on our first visit to Hermitage Hotel and showed us different room options so we could choose exactly what we wanted. Everyone on the staff was lovely and available, and they made our stay as enjoyable as possible. We’ll definitely come back!

A beautiful spa and outdoor pool, a decent breakfast, and a good-sized gym. The hotel is elegant and in the best location, though getting around can be tricky because it has many wings and floors that don’t connect. The rooms are small but well designed, with all the amenities you’d expect at a five-star hotel.

Management put in writing that we’d been overcharged and promised to promptly refund the disputed amount. Weeks later, there’s still no refund, just more empty promises. It’s extremely frustrating and disappointing that this one issue has turned what was a five-star stay at Hotel Hermitage into a three-star experience, and led to a negative review.

The staff were very rude and the place didn’t feel welcoming. The hall was empty, which didn’t surprise me. A very kind receptionist took us to a table, but the hall manager wouldn’t let us sit. Somehow every table was booked even though the hall was empty. What a shame.
