Fairmont Monte Carlo

The Lobby Lounge was a highlight, with superb food and impeccable service in an elegant setting. The care and atmosphere throughout really showed the Fairmont’s commitment to hospitality. Giuseppe at the Front Desk made check-in feel smooth and welcoming, and check-out was just as efficient. Our first visit to Monte Carlo was unforgettable thanks to our stay at the Fairmont. Every part of the experience felt five-star. We’d come back without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly luxurious stay.

The location is incredible, right by the famous Formula 1 hairpin, with wonderful views over the Mediterranean. The rooms are comfortable, the atmosphere elegant, and the service consistently professional and welcoming. I visit Monaco regularly, and Fairmont Monte Carlo has become one of my favorite places to stay. I first met Dario while signing up for the fitness area on my first arrival in Monaco. Over time we became friends. He’s kind, helpful, and professional, and makes guests feel welcome with so much positive energy and care for his work. The whole Fairmont team does a great job, but people like Dario make each visit more special. I always enjoy returning and highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel had renovations underway, but they didn’t bother us, especially from our room. Breakfast at Nobu had plenty of choices, though the pastries were dangerously tempting. On our second afternoon we used the rooftop pool, whose water was perfectly warm even in February. We came to Monte Carlo for our wedding anniversary, and the Fairmont made it memorable from the start. Charles checked us in efficiently and upgraded our garden view room to a beautiful sea view suite for the occasion. While the room was still being prepared, he suggested lunch at the hotel restaurant. Sebastian looked after us and explained the day’s offerings, making sure our preferences were covered. The two-course daily menu cost 67 euros and included a main, dessert, a glass of wine, and coffee. It was delicious and good value. After lunch we walked around the iconic Casino area, then got a call that the room was ready. Inside, we found a complimentary bottle of Tattinger champagne, chocolates, and a personal note from Hotel Management. It made us feel special. Throughout the stay, the staff were attentive and went out of their way to make the anniversary lovely. We’re grateful for the hospitality and will treasure the memories. We look forward to coming back.

The gym is top-notch for someone like me who picks hotels based on their workout facilities. It’s spacious, has great equipment, and a good atmosphere. The location in MC is hard to beat, and the service was amazing. Breakfast at the Fairmont was already great, but Pietro took it to another level. He seemed to know what coffee lovers wanted, keeping my cup full and having the plate I was hoping for appear just when I wanted it. Fantastic service, always with a genuine smile.
