Hotel France is clean, quiet, safe, friendly, and right in the center. I loved waking up to the smell of warm pastries every morning, and I’d stay here again. Google’s directions from the train station aren’t very helpful, so here’s how to get there: go to track C and walk to the end. Turn left through the long tunnel until you reach a small courtyard. Turn right, find the little stairs beside a cafe, go down, then turn left. The hotel is right in front of you.

The bathroom’s a little small, but the hotel is good and a great price for Monaco. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Really good value, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is cute, tucked on a side street near the center, and my room was very clean with a balcony. The beds might feel small if you’re over 180, but I’d definitely book again.

The room was small but comfortable, and housekeeping was outstanding. The desk staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The shower was tiny but had good water pressure. I loved the location, with easy walks to the market, train station, shops, restaurants, palace, and casino. Buses are nearby too, and Eze is close. It worked perfectly as a base for visiting other places. The city pool nearby was a great find with my 13-year-old. There was great coffee and a good-enough breakfast to get the day started. I’d love to see some fresh flowers at reception to brighten it up!
