The hostel has a central location, with restaurants and bars nearby, and I had a fantastic Easter weekend. I travel alone and look for social hostels with interesting people, and this place draws exactly that kind of crowd. Between hanging out at the hostel and joining tours, it was easy to meet other solo travelers and connect quickly. Ruben was a great host even before I arrived. He sent all the information I needed and made sure the arrival and transfer went smoothly, including tips like downloading Yandex because Uber doesn’t exist. He also runs a day tour to Transnistria that I highly recommend. It costs less than other tours, and his Italian/Napoli charm and humor made it much more enjoyable. The wine tour was another highlight: we visited two wine cellars and several monasteries. Ruben personally guided us through the world’s third-largest wine cellar, a fascinating experience, especially tasting straight from the silos. If I come back, I wouldn’t hesitate to book the same place again.

I joined the hostel’s Transnistria tour, and it ended up being one of the best parts of my trip. The hostel itself is a lovely little place right in central Chișinău, with helpful, friendly staff and a clean, well-equipped kitchen. Restaurants, bars, grocery stores, landmarks, and activities are all close by. I’d happily recommend it.

The owner was especially helpful before I arrived and throughout my stay. This is one of my favorite hostels: it’s comfortable, very clean, and easy to meet other solo travelers. I don’t usually go on group excursions, but their Transnistria tour was worth it, and I’d recommend it.

Ruben was a kind, understanding host and made everything easy. The beds were the most comfortable I’d slept in on my trip, and the hostel and the people there were lovely. It’s also well placed for seeing the sights in Chişinău. Highly recommend!

The place is well looked after, and you can tell care went into the design. It’s clean, nicely designed, and in a good location. The staff were friendly too, especially the dark-haired man and the woman with long dark hair.
