Lion's Hotel

There was nobody to clean our room on the second day. Breakfast was very limited too: we had to pick just one item from a set menu, so there was no chance to try different things. They also refused us bread, saying they had run out.

Breakfast in the glass rooftop was the best part, with a beautiful atmosphere. The Tibetan spa across the street was also a real plus for morning massages and spa services. The hotel is new, but the rooms are extremely small and not comfortable at all. Service was okay, though the staff could be more professional. I wouldn't stay here again.

We were able to check in early, though the receptionist was strict about checkout time. It's a small hotel with only a small number of rooms, in a superb location. There's a lovely range of food at the wonderful restaurant down the street to the left, and a beautiful new restaurant outside the hotel to the right, owned by the same person. The chefs are excellent, but quite strict about sticking to the menu, so poached eggs are available and boiled eggs aren't. Both soup options were excellent. Julia, our waitress, was lovely, very friendly and young. I'm already booked to come back in five weeks for my wife's birthday.

Really comfortable hotel, nice rooms, and a good breakfast. The staff were super kind, especially Cistina at the reception desk, who was sweet and very professional.
