Complex Turistic Codru

The restaurant service was outstanding, and the food was exceptionally delicious. We were very pleased with Codru complex, especially the staff’s professionalism and excellent service. The administrators were wonderful and always helped us sort out any issue. We’re grateful for such a lovely experience and high level of care.

The family pool was a highlight, with the playground and kids’ club right nearby so we could relax while the kids played. Reception and bar staff were excellent. The forest setting is lovely, though the only trail into it is about five minutes, and I wish there were a longer, nicer route. I was also uneasy about the gates into the forest being left open. It would be better if adults controlled when they open. The room itself was nice, but our Deluxe room was supposed to have a forest view and looked out at a wall instead 😂. There was no daily room service, which was awkward because I needed the floor cleaned for my barefoot children. By the second day we’d run out of toilet paper, and with reception closing at 10 PM, I had to borrow some from a neighboring room. The restaurant menu had tasty options, though prices felt high, even $2.50 for tea. The place advertises multiple restaurants, but there was only one dining option, so the menu didn’t change during our stay. Breakfast, which was included, was very good. The marketing photos were misleading too: using the fire pit or the pretty terrace with lights costs extra, and a fire was $56. We stayed two nights with the kids in July.

The pool is a decent size, and the surrounding forest makes the drive from Chisinau worthwhile. A good nature getaway for families, and maybe young adults too. The staff are great.

We went on a business trip and really enjoyed the place. It was quiet, surrounded by nature, and the atmosphere felt unbelievable. The staff were professional, supportive, and provided service and cleanliness at a high standard. A nice choice.
