We only ate at the restaurant on our way back from Ostrog Monastery, we didn't stay at the hotel. The service was attentive and very friendly, and paying by card was convenient. Both dishes we ordered had lots of flavor, though there was a little room for improvement. The view is amazing. We really appreciated finding such a clean, tasty and welcoming place.

The rooms were roomy and nicely equipped, and the valley view was amazing. We had a fantastic stop at Hotel Sokoline on our October 2025 road trip through Montenegro. It’s also well placed for visiting the Ostrog Monastery. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the restaurant terrace was a real plus. Perfect.

The restaurant had a good range of fresh, tasty food, and the staff there and at the hotel were professional, friendly, and ready to help. Even stopping for coffee would be worthwhile for that view. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the mountains and the monastery. The quiet, birdsong, sunset, and soft music made it easy to unwind. Hotel Sokoline is perched above the scenery, about 1.5 km from the lower Ostrog Monastery. The drive up is lovely too, with peaceful surroundings and wide views. A great choice for an overnight stay or a calm break.

The service, accommodation, and cuisine were all amazing. With the striking Ostrog scenery around it, this feels like an inspiring place to stay, especially if you enjoy high places and untouched nature.
