If you can, book an upper floor room for the breathtaking views. There aren't balconies to sit on, which is a shame. The rooms are excellent and the host was welcoming and helpful. The aircon works well, though the bedroom still gets hot. There's a great value cafe/restaurant 50m down the slope. The beach is small but clean.

We were there for eight days, so I got a decent feel for the place. At €50 a night in 2018, it made sense for a tight budget, but I wouldn't stay here again if I returned to Montenegro. The view from the third floor can be breathtaking, depending on the room: 9 and 10 have the best outlook, while 5 has none. There are two supermarkets about five minutes away on foot, and the nearest beach is five minutes away, with a nicer one up to 15 minutes away. The biggest problem was the insects. Cockroaches and ants were everywhere, so I wouldn't eat at the ground-floor restaurant. The busy road also made it hard to sleep. Room 5 is noisy because the bar is right next door. Doors and walls are thin, so sound carries, and the staircase is smoky since smoking is allowed in restaurants. The church bell rings every half hour from 7am to 9pm. Rooms 9 and 10 share the third-floor terrace. Cleaning was supposed to happen every three days, and they promised daily cleaning because we had a baby. We got it only twice. The bed wasn't made, bathroom rubbish wasn't emptied, and the sheets weren't changed at all. Furniture was cheap and partly broken: in room 10 a kitchen cabinet door hung from one hinge and the wardrobe doors didn't work. The shower in 10 was fine, but the one in 5 leaked. None of the electrical outlets seemed reliable. The bathroom bulb in 10 had a loose connection, and I had to fix it myself three times in eight days. The kitchenware was generally okay, but seemed to be the cheapest.

It's a nice apartment, but we had trouble finding it. They should put up bigger signs.

The veal at "my restaurant" was great, and the staff were very nice.
