There’s nearly always something going on at Old Town Hostel Kotor, but it never feels forced or turns into party chaos. The shared dinners and hangouts made it easy to meet people, and the free rakija helped break the ice. Diego makes amazing homemade food, while Milan is always available and super helpful. Ramy also deserves a big thanks for organizing meals and get-togethers and helping newcomers feel included. The hostel is clean and comfortable, right in the old town, with beautiful views, especially in the morning and evening. I had a really good stay.

The hostel feels relaxed and social, with something happening most days but no pressure to join in. I found it easy to meet people, and Ramy helped bring everyone together in a way that felt natural from day one. Cheap communal dinners with Diego’s cooking and free rakija were a highlight, and Milan was incredibly helpful and always around. Rooms were great and very clean, and the views from this central old town spot are beautiful. Old Town Hostel Kotor gets it right.

We arrived with low expectations and left with some of our best memories. The dinners were delicious and fun, thanks in part to Diego, who’s a great chef, and Ramy, who was so kind and there for us throughout. The staff were always ready to help, and the rooms and toilets stayed clean. The location inside the Old Town is perfect. We had such a good time! ♥️

I still think about this hostel two years later, and I recommend it to everyone I can. The activities were unforgettable. The sunset BBQ tour up to the old fortress was magical, and I met so many fun people. I wanted to join the sunset boat trip too, but it was already fully booked. The location was great as well. Don’t miss this place!

Diego, the kitchen chef, made excellent home-style dinners, and breakfast was good too, only 5€ each. Ramy is the entertainment master, so watch out if you don’t want free shots of Rakija 😂. The hostel itself is beautiful, with lovely architecture and a perfect spot in old Kotor town. The people working there are great, too. It’s much better than some hotels.
