Palazzo Drusko Deluxe Rooms

I paid about 47€ a night, which felt like very good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are no meals, but you can use the shared kitchen on the ground floor or choose from plenty of places nearby. The room was clean and tidy, traditionally decorated, and everything worked, including the AC. There was an old radio playing nice Italian songs. Do remember to park outside the old town, since cars can’t enter. If there’s a party in the narrow streets, you’ll probably hear it, the mattress could use replacing, the WiFi was quite slow, and sometimes the tap water stopped running for hours because of the area’s old pipes.

The old town location is perfect, with even a small supermarket around the corner that stays open until 9 pm. This was one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in. It was cozy, beautifully designed, and had a comfy bed and an amazing vibe. You can really feel the authentic character of Kotor old town. I fully recommend this beautiful hotel.

We stayed in the Duke room and wished we could have stayed longer. It had a king bed, a fireplace, a large flat-screen TV, and beautiful antique furniture. The bathroom was small but modern, with a hair dryer, and there was a little refrigerator in the foyer. Our host, Vlatimir, was gracious and gave us a map of the area and a dinner restaurant suggestion. The hotel is in Old Town, in a 600-year-old stone house. There’s no parking in Old Town, but we found a lot about five minutes away. It cost around 8 euro for 15 hours, and was worth the walk, even in the rain.

Everything in the room was clean and worked properly, and the service was lovely. They gave me tips and suggestions for things to see, and I’d stay there again. I even wanted to add another day 😐. The room was one of the cutest I’ve stayed in, but still spacious. It was full of antiques in a classy way, with all the furniture over 100 years old. There was also a vintage radio rewired to play their playlist, plus a huge 3D TV and 25 newer blockbuster movies to watch.
