The location was a real highlight. From the window, we could watch the sunset on dusky evenings as the Kotor Fortress lit up. We booked at the last minute and, thankfully, got the off-season half price, which made the stay worthwhile. We were in room 4. The room was spacious enough to eat a light meal at the counter or sit in the armchair with a book or watch a favorite show on the TV, about 15 feet away. The air conditioning was fantastic, and the slippers were comfortable and had good grip. There were downsides. The room smelled of smoke at first, which was hard for me as a recovering nicotine addict, though opening the windows helped. The bathroom was extraordinarily small for someone six feet tall. Standing to urinate meant spreading my legs quite wide and ducking my head to one side.

We spent six days in the top floor penthouse. The bathroom ceiling is low because of the building’s structure, but staying in a place like that was an amazing experience. The owners were great and the hospitality was perfect. You only need to bring your personal things. There are all kinds of services available by walking into the old town. I recommend these apartments without hesitation!

Jelena was attentive and friendly, and the room temperature was fine. The location is nice, though the room had some cleanliness problems: the bed linens were torn and the towels stained. Hot water was also in short supply. The old building had some humidity, but it wasn’t a serious issue.

I was surprised by the other negative comments because my friend and I were very comfortable in the top floor room. The cleaning was perfect, and we had a really enjoyable, comfortable holiday. I’d definitely visit this hotel again!

The room I stayed in had a modern bathroom, and the air conditioner cooled well. Closing the windows kept the sound out. It was handy to have kitchen facilities, and restaurants, Kotor beach, Aroma market, and taxis were all close by. The place is in the old town, right in the city center. If you’re trying to find the door, look on the back street behind pizzeria pronto, where you’ll see the spot in my photo with the white shirt. And for anyone mentioning the bells, churches are part of being here, so that’s normal.
