Puerta Apartments

The hosts were nice and very helpful, and the bed linen was clean. The location in Kotor's old city is excellent, and this was the cheapest place in town. But the bathroom and kitchenware were dirty, and there was a bad smell, especially in the bathroom. The heating was both weak and noisy.

I booked a room for one day, but they charged my account three times. They still haven’t refunded the money, and they’re not answering my calls or messages. I’ve never had such a bad experience. Don’t book a room here, it felt like a scam.

The bed was fairly comfortable, and the location is very good, but the apartment is also quite small. When I arrived, there were no sheets, so I had to ask for them. The shower curtain and its rod were totally broken and kept falling on me while I showered. There’s no curtain on the window, and the outside blinds are impossible to reach. The wifi cuts in and out too. I wouldn’t recommend staying until at least the shower and window curtains are fixed.

It’s a great location, though the place is rustic and has no frills. It’s cheap, and the guy checking me in at the bar was awesome. I had a beer while he stamped my passport. If you’re fine roughing it to save money, this place works.
