Hotel ACD Wellness & Spa

I paid 280€ at the reception for two nights at ACD Wellness Hotel Herceg Novi. I went back to reception about 5 minutes after entering the room because it wasn't what I expected. I hadn't used the room at all and didn't stay overnight, but the hotel refunded just one night and kept the first night's payment. I offered 50€ in good faith as compensation, but they turned it down. I'm disappointed in how this was handled and hope the hotel reconsiders and offers a fair, professional resolution. I'm open to updating this review if it's resolved.

The rooms are spacious, with a bedroom separate from the living room, plus a hallway, bathroom and balcony. It's only a few minutes' walk to the beach, and there are plenty of grocery stores nearby. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel both offer a good range of tasty food. The room has modern touch-sensitive light switches. There's also a button to let housekeeping know the room needs cleaning or that you don't want to be disturbed that day.

We spent six nights here as a group, and everyone left happy. The staff took care of all our requests efficiently, and the service was excellent. Our room was quiet and clean, with daily cleaning available on request. We'd read some comments about noise, but it wasn't a problem for us. The nearest beach is just 100 meters away, and the price felt like great value. The pool area is well kept, although there are no sunshades, and the wellness facility is a huge plus. Breakfast has plenty of choice and tastes great. Bar and dinner prices are reasonable for the food quality. I especially recommend the à la carte dinner menus rather than half board, the portions and flavors are excellent. We'll definitely be back.

The service was impressive every day. By the time we finished breakfast, our room had been thoroughly cleaned without fail. From the buildings and surroundings to the room finishes and staff, everything at Lazure Hotel and Marina was high quality. They haven't cut corners, right down to the Rituals bathroom supplies. On our first visit to Montenegro, we were more than surprised by the standard. This hotel absolutely deserves its 5 star rating, which isn't always true of local ratings. A lovely place to visit, stay and relax.
