Three dogs are living beneath barrels along the path on the left side of the facade. They’re chained up and kept in horrible conditions. The owner may say he’s a hunter and needs them for hunting, but that doesn’t sit right with running a hostel by the bay. If you care about humane treatment of animals, don’t stay here. The owners need to learn from their mistakes, and animal welfare in Montenegro should be brought up to European standards. Please make people think about this.

We had a really nice stay and hope to return. The hosts were lovely, and the cozy place has a great view of both the mountains and the sea.

The host was so helpful and nice, and I’d definitely recommend her. The place itself is wonderful, in a lovely spot very close to the beach. Thanks so much for everything. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.
