I can’t describe how awful my experience at this apartment was. I booked through booking and could only manage one night. On entering the room, we found no blankets or pillowcases, towels stained with blood and feces, and no water. I cancelled through booking straight away. They told me I owed a €45 penalty, but cancelled it once I left the property the next day. The trouble was, the apartment only accepted cash. After paying that way, I asked for the refund booking said I should receive, but the hosts flatly refused and called me a liar, even after I sent photos and videos as evidence. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend booking here if you don’t want your holiday ruined.

The owner, Ivan, was very helpful and genuinely nice. We arrived on Saturday without a booking, so our first night was in a small ground-floor room with a few little flies. For the next two nights we moved to a top-floor apartment, with superb views over the bay. There’s a small kitchen area on a separate level. We spent three lovely nights here, and it was great value in a superb location. There are a couple of great places to eat nearby along the lakeshore, and private parking in the courtyard.

The view is beautiful, and there’s room in the parking area for 5-6 cars. The couple were very nice. Thanks for having us.

The toilet had a pretty awful smell, which was the one downside. Apart from that, everything was on point. It’s a beautiful spot, especially for families. If you want to switch off and relax away from the outside world, I’d strongly recommend it. The staff were really helpful and friendly too.
