At 50 euros a night in June, the price seemed fine until they added a mandatory 40 euro cleaning fee at checkout, which made no sense to me. The house is lovely, but it’s near the very top and edge of the village. Getting to the sea means walking down steps for about seven minutes, then climbing back up. We’re fit and used to hills, but doing that in 36°C heat was extremely hard at one point. The room was spacious, with a small kitchenette and a terrace with a nice view. We’d said beforehand that we were two adults and a child, but got one creaky double bed that badly needs replacing, plus a folding bed for our son. The TV and AC both seemed to be from the 1990s, and we couldn’t use the AC because the remote batteries didn’t work. At night, the noise was the worst part. We could hear the upstairs neighbors loudly, and a toilet flush sounded like a pipe had burst. It’s livable, but the conditions feel like the 1990s or early 2000s. I’d pay 10-15 euros more for a decent place. You’ll have to decide for yourself, but honestly I can only give it a 3.
