We booked a day bed at the beach club, but the experience was really disappointing and not worth the price. The food was average at best, and our order wasn’t properly recorded, so some of what we asked for never arrived. They offered complimentary sushi to make up for it, but it showed up just as we were getting ready to leave, too late to be useful. Service was poor from the start. Our server wasn’t attentive and visibly rolled his eyes when we tried to get his attention. Even simple things were a struggle. There were four of us, but we got only one menu. When we asked for more, we were told we didn’t need them. At one point we had to leave our day bed and go to the bar ourselves to order food and drinks. Another guest kept approaching people around the pool in a way that seemed inappropriate, and staff didn’t appear to step in. That affected the atmosphere too. For what it cost, the whole visit fell well short of what we expected.

The way the gatekeeper treated us on arrival really took away from the occasion. He was rude to both me and my wife, and it put a damper on the birthday visit we’d hoped would feel special. I know one encounter may not represent the hotel as a whole, but I wanted to flag it so it can be addressed. We still value the hotel and hope other guests don’t run into the same thing.

We were already on our second day, but when we arrived at the gate the gatekeeper neither opened it nor came over to ask anything. We had to ask what was going on, and he said he couldn’t tell whether we’d come for a beer or were hotel guests. That felt rude and unprofessional. Even if we’d been new arrivals, that wouldn’t have been an acceptable way to speak to us. At a five-star property we expected staff to be polite. We’d been considering two extra nights, but after this we changed our minds. Such a shame for a lovely place.

The cabana was so nice for a day with my five friends that I’m thinking of flying back to Montenegro just to spend a few days at monte palm beach.

A day at the beach club with friends left us pretty unimpressed. We kept having to ask for service, the staff weren’t responsive, and the food was late and not very good. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.
