We ended up leaving, though we never spent a night in the room we had booked. After a 15-hour drive, we were told there was a toilet problem and our room wasn't available, so they offered a cheaper room at a nearby hotel for the night. We slept there and had the breakfast included with our stay. The food was pretty good, just not very varied. In the morning, they said we couldn't move into the booked room until after 11, so we hauled our bags back to the car and went to the beach. When we came back, the room they showed us was nothing like the one we had reserved. My husband couldn't fit through the shower door, and the room was tiny, so we asked to see another. We felt short on options and agreed to the second room. I only managed to take a shower there, and the power went out four times while I was in it. Then I found the closet dirty, stained, and dusty when I tried to unpack. There were no towel hooks in the bathroom, and although free toiletries were meant to be provided, luckily I had brought my own. I felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave right away. The owners agreed to cancel for free, returned our money, and we left. The experience was so disappointing that we decided to leave Montenegro that same night. We'd already had two other reservations fall through after Booking let us book and the properties called to say they were overbooked. I really don't recommend this place. I regret only checking the Booking reviews and not Google first. I later saw several people say they'd also been told there was a toilet issue and had to sleep elsewhere. This place is clearly misleading.

The balcony view was stunning, and our simple room was clean. My friend and I stayed for 10 days and mostly had a positive experience. Breakfast was basic but tasty. The one downside was a smelly toilet, especially when the weather was very hot.

After seven hours on the road, we were told by a boy that our booked apartment wasn't available because of a bathroom problem. They arranged another apartment through a friend, but it was far from there and the beach, and getting to it was uncomfortable. The boy was Albanian and spoke English, but no Montenegrin. The apartments also aren't beachfront, and getting up to them feels like climbing a mountain.

We had reserved three rooms at the start of the year: two two-bedroom apartments for my friend and me, traveling as two families with three small children between us, plus one single room. Each apartment was 480 euros for six days. One person couldn't come, so we canceled just the single room and gave that guest's name when we did it. After our 15-17 hour drive, they told us all the reservations had been canceled anyway. Then they sent us to a friend's place, a smelly hotel with no towels or toilet paper, bathroom doors without locks, a broken TV, poor internet, and bed bugs. It cost 80 euros a night, and breakfast from our original booking wasn't included. We left the area the next day. Their behavior felt shifty, and finding Panorama Alaj apartments was difficult, with no one to guide us by phone. The area itself was filthy too, with a dirty beach and streets and no sidewalks. We had a terrible experience and later learned others had apparently had similar problems. We also checked the same dates later and saw the price had doubled since we booked. Please read the feedback carefully.

The road up to the apartment complex was the scariest drive of my life. On top of that, my confirmed reservation had been canceled without any notice because they'd given the room to someone else. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this place. You'd be better off sleeping in your car.
