The villa sits in a peaceful, safe spot that feels almost like a little village, yet it's right by the center of Ulcinj. Since the building is slightly uphill, getting there with large suitcases could be difficult. The room is roomy, with its own kitchenette and bathroom, air conditioning, and a large balcony overlooking the city. There are also maps with information about Ulcinj and the surrounding area. A lovely orchard and garden surround the villa, and the owners look after them. Breakfast was fantastic, better than I expected, and they also offered welcome coffee at check-in. The owner was very kind and communication through Booking messenger was quick and effective. He speaks Serbian and, I think, Albanian too. Knowing another Slavic language can make it easier to communicate.

The balcony view is amazing, and the apartment is huge. It’s fairly priced and close to the center. The owners were so sweet, and they live there too.

The shower was really good, and the bed was comfortable. It’s a nice, basic room, and the owners were lovely, though their English isn’t very strong, so we had a few communication issues. Getting up the hill can be tricky for some people, especially in the rain.

I really liked my stay at Bisha Apartments and even extended it. The owners seemed warm and welcoming, despite us not talking much, and I’d happily stay again if I were in the area. It’s a quiet spot away from the busy town below, though the walk up is fairly steep. From the patio, there are beautiful mountain views. The nearest beach and plenty of restaurants, shops, and a large IDEA grocery store are about a 10-15 minute walk away. My room was a good size for me and everything worked properly. The little kitchenette has standard cooking equipment, but you’ll need to bring your own seasonings if you want them.

When I got sick during my second stay at Bisha Apartments, the family brought me warm soup and food just ten minutes after I told them. I was really grateful. Luckily, both of the owners’ daughters are doctors and speak German perfectly. The family deserves all the five star ratings, and I’ll see them next time. I also enjoyed the peaceful location, about a 10 minute walk from Ulcinj’s main street. There’s a small supermarket down the street that’s stocked very well.
