After six years away, we came back to a place we used to visit often, and the standard has hardly changed. The food is still delicious. Skender was our waiter morning and evening, and at 70 he did an outstanding job. He’s a real language whiz, speaking Albanian, German, Swiss German, Italian, and Serbian. The young ones could learn from him! We’ll book again next summer just because of Skender.

The food is the best in Ulquín, and the hotel and location are superb. The owner was incredibly friendly, personable, and helpful. He speaks fluent German, Albanian, and Serbo-Croatian, plus some French and Russian. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
