The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with two levels and an air conditioner on each floor that cooled everything quickly. The Wi-Fi was strong enough for my husband to use a secure connection for work. The family also has a boat and offers private trips on the lake; their son and his wife took us out and speak English very well. The parents, who run the apartment, were extremely kind and keen to help. They were tracking our arrival, so even though we got in at 10 pm, they were ready for us and had made dinner with wine. We had three different meals: chicken, fish, and pork with salad, all tasty and made with fresh garden vegetables. Breakfast is available daily except Monday. They buy everything fresh the day before, and since the market is closed on Sunday, they don’t cook on Monday. We had a lovely quick getaway at Skadar Lake and felt right at home with this caring family.
