The smaller house was lovely and compact, with all the essentials. The hosts speak very little English, but they still made us feel welcome and found a way to explain how everything worked. The location is great, right next to Zabljak, where there are gas, restaurants, and supermarkets. It’s a perfect base for driving the Durmitor Ring.

Sandra was a lovely host and gave us some useful tourist advice. We stayed for three days, four people plus a baby or toddler, and had a great short visit. The house was cozy and clean, with the best equipped kitchen we’d had in a long time. This little suburb of Zabeljak has a wonderful atmosphere, with rural family houses, sheep, cows, and breathtaking scenery. We really enjoyed it.

There’s plenty of room inside for four to six people, with two bedrooms, a large living room with a kitchen, and a bathroom. The house is in a marvelous spot where you can really feel the mountain atmosphere. It has everything you need. I highly recommend it!

The place was fine, but the fireplace was just part of the oven and didn’t give off much heat. The owners weren’t very attentive to us or our needs, like when we ran out of toilet paper.
