We stayed July 6-13 2922, in the middle of winter, and were glad to have steady hot water. We could also have dinner by the fireplace downstairs in the restaurant. The room was very spacious, with a great rooftop view of the city. The hotel has high stairs to climb in and out, which makes for a good workout. I believe they were kept that way to preserve the historic architectural design. The staff were warm, helpful, and made the place feel homely. The owner was often around and responded quickly to requests. When we mentioned a damp smell in our room, the owner sorted it out straight away, and we didn’t notice it again for the rest of our stay. The antique architecture and location were lovely, near attractions like the Queens Palace. The chef is great, and the menu has a wide range. There’s a full restaurant on site that’s known around the city, and we enjoyed the meals we ordered. Breakfast is simple and basic, but you can add eggs, sausages, and other things for as little as 8,000 Ar (€2). They also had some local artists, musicians, around and are arranging regular artistic evenings. We were satisfied all around and will return in the future.

The sunset and sunrise views are amazing. It’s a cozy place with a fireplace, hot water, very good food, especially the seafood, and really nice staff.

It’s simple but fine, and the restaurant is decent. If you’re visiting in the cold season, the rooms could use a heater.
