Hotel Saint Pierre

As a tattoo artist working under the name An Nass Tattoo, it was a professional experience. A Vazaha who had fallen in love with Madagascar came through Morondava and called me about a baobab tattoo design, recalling its most famous tourist site, along with a lemur tattoo. Those two tattoos set Madagascar apart from other countries and places.

We stayed here for two or three nights in October 2024, my wife, children, and I, before heading to Tulear. We returned to the same hotel after our trip. Everything went well, and I have no complaints. The family room was very reasonably priced. Thanks to the owner.

The staff were so kind, helpful, and always smiling. That was especially nice when we didn’t know the country. The hotel is welcoming and well located in the capital. There’s a restaurant area where meals cost just a few euros, and you can get breakfast or a full meal. WiFi is free.

I first came to this hotel in 2016, and now it’s 2023. A lot of work has been done since then. I give it good marks because it’s rare to find a hotel as good as hôtel st pierre. The rooms are well equipped, including a TV, and the toilets are quite good. The bathroom has a sink and a working hot-water shower. Very fair value for money.
