I came for lunch on my departure day. I'd rather have been in Tana, but there were things going on over there. I didn't stay at the hotel. Inside, the decor is a nice diner and bar mix, while outside there's a great view of the greenery below. I sat outside because the shade and temperature suited me, even though quite a few locals seemed not to enjoy the October sun. The food cost a little more than at other places I've tried, 35-40k Ar instead of my usual 30-35k Ar, but it was good. I ordered the blackboard special, pan-fried prawns and calamari with fried plantains, and loved it. There was plenty of plantain, which may have made the price feel justified. The milkshake was watery, though I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that's just how it's made here. Service was a bit slow while the place was three-quarters full, with a few large parties and orders likely putting the staff under pressure. Good experience overall, recommended.

The terrace is beautiful and has a nice view. The menu has plenty of variety, though not everything may be available at a given time. The food is great, prices are good, and the staff are so friendly.

We booked a room for the day because we had a night flight. The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water. The room was a little noisy for sleeping, being near a main road. The location is very convenient for the airport and across the street from the police station for safety. The restaurant was excellent and prices very competitive.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everyone was friendly, though the service wasn't the best. The food is delicious, mostly French-style cooking with a Malagasy touch. I especially liked the zebu carpaccio. There's also a balcony with a lovely view.

We had fish, pork, and chicken, and all of it was excellent and cooked well. The food and cozy atmosphere make Savanna cafe a great hangout, whether you're casual or more upscale. The staff are warm and friendly. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for good food and a nice place, and I'll be back more often.
