Meva became a bit of a home for my family and me. We returned several times while travelling around Madagascar, and each visit brought that feeling back. Felama, the cook, made us fantastic meals, and all the staff were warm and welcoming. Our family room was enormous, almost like a separate apartment, with a deck looking out over the big garden and its tortoise lawnmowers. Meva is a green little retreat in the city, yet it’s right in the middle of a suburb where you can get whatever you need. We only explored the neighbourhood on foot in the daytime, and it felt very safe. I highly recommend staying here.

Don't let the drive in put you off. This lovely property is close to the airport, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating, with thoughtful personal touches. We had the best Malagasy breakfast of our trip so far.

The people at Meva Guest House in Antananarivo Madagascar were caring and helpful, and made us feel welcome. It’s a clean, comfortable place where we felt safe and at peace amid the busy city. We’ve just come back from Madagascar, a beautiful country with so much for travellers to see. Meva really is a gem, and Wendy, Mbola and the whole team deserve our thanks. D and B.

A great-value place to stay, with hot water, tasty food, a clean room, and kind, friendly staff. It’s an ideal stop for the airport or for exploring the Talatamaty area of Tana.
