Hôtel La Terrasse du Voyageur

The food and daytime reception were perfect, and the hotel is beautiful with real potential. But the service fell short. My room smelled of cigarettes, had mold, and, despite being clean otherwise, had cockroaches. The balcony was neglected, there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms at the back, and nothing had been fixed even though I reported the issues several days earlier. I also got the impression the manager wasn’t keeping an eye on the staff. Rooms are only cleaned if you leave your key at reception before noon. The housekeeper finishes between 12:00 and 12:30, but nobody explained that at check-in and there was no notice in the room. The night receptionist told me that evening. Most of the other staff were understanding, except for one person. There were maintenance problems too, like a broken door handle and a loose sink. It seemed there was no technical support, which is a real shame.
