It’s a quiet, central spot with a pool that’s nice for unwinding, and the women working there are the most beautiful I saw in Diego. I’d buy one of those GH caps the staff wear if they sold them as souvenirs. My only real reservation is how difficult the place seems to be to keep in working order, otherwise I’d rate it five stars.

At least the pool helped lift our mood, and the red petals and balloons arranged for our wedding night were a thoughtful touch. We also enjoyed the poolside food, even though it was expensive. Still, my new wife and I aren’t sure we’d return, which is a shame on our honeymoon. We had a lot of problems: the toilet stopped flushing later in the morning, so I used shower water collected in the bin to flush it. The air conditioner leaked onto the bedroom floor, and the bathroom trash hadn’t been emptied in a while, with a rotting apple core and other rubbish inside. The Wi-Fi was painfully slow, and a bathroom light flickered and needed replacing. The governess apologized, but we weren’t offered any voucher. The hotel didn’t seem to know how to compensate unhappy guests.

Shops are close by, and the taxi stand is an easy walk. There’s also a discotheque and quad bike rental directly opposite. I stayed three nights and really liked the hotel. The staff were friendly and supportive, and room service was good. The chef was especially great, willing to make food to your taste in whatever cuisine, just explain what you want. Breakfast was good too, though the presentation could be better. I’d recommend it to Indian travelers. 👍

The breakfast gets repetitive, the same small buffet every day, and it wasn’t very good. Still, this is a standard hotel in Diego, centrally placed and safe. The staff were really friendly, especially Frida at reception and Ibrahim.

Stayed Monday, May 6 to Thursday, May 9, 2024. It’s a decent hotel, though it feels rather old. Breakfast was really lousy, and the coffee didn’t taste good.
