Eden Rock Hotel

The staff were kind, though they only speak French. The room was clean and the location was good, especially for the price.

There aren't many budget options, so this one is a good choice, though it's a little far from the restaurants.

Good prices and a convenient location. The team were friendly, the place was clean, and there was a restaurant. The room had air conditioning and a fan.

Wi-Fi was weak in my room, and staff sometimes talked loudly in the garden as early as 5 AM. Since the staff all live at the hotel, it also felt like there was no privacy. My main problem was the thin woman at the front desk. When I came to pay, she charged me too little. I told her right away so she wouldn't make a mistake and have to cover the loss herself, then I paid the difference. She blamed me anyway and seemed unhappy that I'd pointed it out. She looked at my check-in form, saw that my occupation was salesperson, and mocked me for having been a salesperson. I felt she looked down on me because of my profession. I thought pointing out the undercharge would save the hotel money, but she showed no gratitude. The way she treated me was arrogant, rude, and uncouth, and I found her incompetent.
