The rooms felt dated and weren’t clean enough, and there was no hot water in the shower. Getting coffee with milk was almost impossible. As an English speaker, I found it difficult here because nobody speaks English. My first stay and my last.

This was my second stay, and I got my dates wrong when booking. Even though it was a busy weekend, the staff went out of their way to find me a room. Rova Hotel is a calm little oasis, just a short walk from supermarkets and some lovely restaurants. The staff are great, the vibe is relaxed, and I’d highly recommend staying here in Tana.

We stayed two nights and it was such a treat after two weeks of sparse accommodation. We could finally rest and get cleaned up before our long flight home. The place is clean, modern, and quiet, with peaceful lighting and thoughtful decor. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the manager was stellar. The air conditioning was just right, and we enjoyed the TV and internet. The shower had a nice head and plenty of hot water. The new queen bed was comfortable, and the pillows felt like proper pillows instead of overfilled sacks of potatoes. The view over the Hollywood-esque sign was great, especially at sunset over Tana. After checking out, we left our bags and read in the lobby until our midnight flight. It was good value at the low season price. I have no hesitation recommending this lovely little retreat. There were plenty of nice restaurants within a 2-3 block radius, including heavenly Vietnamese and decent Korean.

The hotel was well maintained and nice and clean. Our room was small and noisy because of the main hall, though the other rooms seemed much better.

The room was comfortable, and the staff were very nice. It’s a lovely small hotel in a safe area, with nice restaurants just a short walk away.
