Stepping out of our room onto white sand each morning felt magical. The bungalows and the whole hotel sit right on the beach, open to the sea and wonderfully peaceful. There are no gates or fences, yet it felt very safe and private. Most of the time we just heard birds, wind, and waves. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the food and service were great. There are two swimming pools. The one small drawback was the internet: it was only available around the bar and pool, and even there it was very unreliable.

We stayed two different nights in two different bedrooms and really had nothing to complain about. A tropical beach paradise, with live music, food, two swimming pools, and staff who were very focused on guests. Amazing place. Bellissimo.

There was live music and a souvenir shop with good options, though I found it overpriced. The place is right by the beach, and the room was clean and had air conditioning. The food was good too. This was our last stop in Morondava, and compared with the other hotels we'd stayed in, it was the best.

The food is definitely better than at other hotels in this price range. Rooms had nice hot water and A/C, there are two pools, and the public areas were clean and well kept. Staff spoke enough English to provide good service. The bed had a mosquito net, though I didn't see any mosquitoes. I would've given it five stars if there were some kind of walkway from reception to the huts. The farther rooms mean a tiring walk through loose sand, which wastes time. Management does help carry bags to and from the rooms. All in all, a great stay.

The hotel restaurant was very nice, and the service was friendly. The beach is just ahead, with plenty of nice restaurants and bars to reach on a leisurely walk along the beachfront. It's a wonderful, very luxurious Beach Hotel in Morondava, with beautifully furnished, impeccably clean cabanas set around two pools.
