Hotel City House

After a day when everything else had gone wrong, Anica welcomed us to City House Bitola. Seeing how spacious and spotless the rooms were, along with her warm welcome, immediately made things feel better. She's the kind of host you hope to find. Thank you, Anica!

The place still has polite waiters, good music, and a nice atmosphere, and the food is very good. Lately, though, a few dishes have slipped a bit, so I’ve taken off a star. Maybe there’s a different chef now. If things get worse, I’ll lower the score again.

The kitchen can be a little slow, even when it isn't very busy, but the food is great and the accommodation is good too. Most of the restaurant allows smoking, though there is also a non-smoking section. On Fridays and Saturdays, a live band plays old Macedonian songs. Worth a visit.

The owners really went above and beyond, and the place was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located in Bitola. I would've stayed longer if my plans had allowed. Highly recommend! I booked through Priceline, but for some reason it wouldn't let me leave a review there, so I'd suggest using another service.
