Nar Hotel

Breakfast felt a bit thrown together, maybe because it was low season. It wasn't the continental buffet we expected, but a menu with four choices, two of them scrambled or fried eggs. They also brought juice, fresh fruit, and a soup that was actually quite tasty. The hotel had a distinct Fawlty Towers feel. Over our two days, we saw only three people in the entire place. We asked for an iron and got one without an ironing board. The two coffees we bought on arrival were from a machine, with powdered milk, and I couldn't finish mine. The room was spacious, but the windows and balcony doors weren't all covered by blackout curtains, so we were woken at 5:30 by a bright room.

The receptionist was really friendly, and the hotel itself was very nice and clean. The restaurant, though, was another story.

We always stop here on the way to Greece. It's a great transit hotel, with everything from the entrance to the rooms and staff impeccable, plus a great breakfast. 10+!!! Strongly recommend!

After seven hours driving and another three waiting at the border, we arrived at 11 PM. They were expecting us and had parking reserved. The kitchen was nearly closed, but the owner still managed to get us dinner. The food was delicious, service excellent, and the rooms clean and comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone.
