We booked a room with a kitchen because that's what the photos online showed, but there was nowhere to cook. When we arrived, they asked me to cancel through Booking, which I did, then gave us a supposedly better room for the same price, cash only. I paid 2 euros for bottled water that had been filled from the tap. We'd spent all our cash the day before on the room, food, snacks, and drinks by the pool, and on our second day we couldn't cook in the room or buy anything at the pool because they had no card terminal. A disaster, they ruined our vacation. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, and water sprayed into the room.

On arrival, the owners asked me to cancel my Booking.com reservation so they could rent me the room at the same rate without paying the commission. They also showed me a smaller room than the one I'd booked. They seem to be overbooked all the time and don't care, which felt very unprofessional and unfriendly.

The hosts were great, the rooms excellent, and the food was good. There's a pool and private parking too. A great place to rest.

The outdoor area is beautiful, and it worked well for me when I needed to bring my laptop and get some work done. It's a welcoming, relaxing place with nice employees and delicious food, and it met all our needs. The room wasn't luxurious and the bathroom felt cramped, but I'd happily return. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner since they aren't provided. I'd also book by phone, because the booking site didn't offer the option we wanted. When we arrived, staff had us cancel our booking and put us in a room that was actually cheaper, which we appreciated. It's a long way from most things in dojran, but if you're just looking to relax, there's not much reason to leave. The negative reviews I've seen are older, and things seem to have improved a lot since then.
