Our Booking.com reservation for today was confirmed, but just a few hours before our flight to Skopje, the property said there had been water damage and our room was suddenly unavailable. We were told to accept two different rooms or cancel. There was no apology, empathy, or useful help, even though we were about to board. They gave us no time or alternatives we actually wanted, and put pressure on us at the worst possible moment. Emergencies happen, but the rude, aggressive, and unprofessional way they handled it was unacceptable. We had the messages documented, and the way they spoke to us caused unnecessary stress and completely ruined the start of our trip. We use Booking.com regularly and never asked for a cancellation. We had written that we did NOT want the reservation cancelled, but it was cancelled a few hours before our flight without our consent or confirmation. This caused serious inconvenience and stress. We expect a formal apology and a clear explanation of what happened. Please review the conversation history and respond. You are the worst worst worst people in the world. You were absolutely rude, and because there was water damage, you thought it was okay not to apologize for the inconvenience. We are extremely dissatisfied with your service. Do not trust this property for last-minute reliability. If something goes wrong, expect pressure instead of support.
