We loved our room. The large balcony looked over the lake, with an incredible view, and was a perfect place to relax. It’s a wonderful spot. For parking, I recommend the free North gate lot instead of trying to get a car into the old city, despite the booking saying parking was available. Follow the main roads to the North gate rather than Google Maps directions.

This is my second visit, and I’ve fallen in love with the place. Pavel and his family are fantastic and always ready to help. Don’t expect fancy rooms, but you get stunning views and a feel for real Macedonian life. For me, it’s paradise, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Thanks, Pavel and Steven.

A great place to stay, with a beautiful view and very friendly people. Definitely don’t overlook it. The lady even came out to the car to help us park in the private parking area.

We could sit on our own terrace and look straight out at the lake, and each room has a fridge for keeping wine cold. There’s also a bar selling good Macedonian wine, perfect for a quiet aperitif. Pavel and his daughter-in-law gave us a very warm welcome and were both so helpful. The place may not be completely clear, but its charm makes up for that. Highly recommended. Christine and Pierre
