The view from the seating was amazing, and the staff were friendly and spoke English really well. I had the trout filet with chips and water. It's their specialty, and it was juicy, very fresh, and cooked just right. They brought fresh white bread and garlic sauce to start, and that sauce was sooo tasty. The other diners around me seemed to be enjoying their food too. I'd guess the mixed fish is good as well. Highly recommend this place when visiting Ohrid. 🐟
Dinner here was satisfying. We ordered grilled prawns and fried small fish, and the portions were generous. They brought bread with their homemade garlic sauce as well. The service was really good.
I sat at their 'first date table' (that's what I found it called :) and could hear the waves while dining. The view is magical, one of the best I've ever had with a meal 😍. I want to put this out there for the future: next time, I'd like to propose at this restaurant, at this very table, with this view. It would be the best proposal spot :)
The balcony has a one-of-a-kind view, and this is a good restaurant for any occasion. Prices are on the higher side, but I think the quality makes it worthwhile. The food is second to none, and it's a great place to try real Ohrid trout.
The food was good, and otherwise we had a good experience, but I'd say bring cash. We asked specifically if card payment was possible, then at the end they said the machine hadn't been working for a couple of days. I had to pay with the only cash I had, Albanian leke, and pay over the odds. The manager said, "leke, it's a problem." I don't like being taken for a fool.
