Matjan Apartments

The location made it easy to enjoy both the promenade and walks through the old town. It is about 50m from the promenade, right where the old town begins. The area is lively but not too noisy, and we slept well. Our studio was cozy, comfortable, very clean, and had fresh sheets and towels. Even though we were in the 'older' apartments, the interior felt modern. It had a balcony, good-enough Wi-Fi, and all the amenities we needed, including A/C, TV, an electric kettle, and a stove. Parking was in a private underground garage, which felt extremely safe, and nobody touches your car but you. Most of all, thank you to Aleksandar and Svetlana. They were amazing, friendly, and caring, always responsive when we had questions and ready to help. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back in Ohrid, and highly recommend it.

Everything we needed was an easy walk away, from shops and cafés to the center and the lake, so we never needed a car. The rooms felt roomy enough for us and our two little kids, and they were spotless, smelled lovely, and had colors that worked really well together :). The hosts were wonderful too. Aleksandar, thanks to you and your family for making us feel so welcome. For me, this is a five-star place.

I’ll definitely book this apartment again. It was spotless and modern, the host was so friendly, and the balcony looked out over the lake.

The apartments are finished to a high standard, and the owners help create a really pleasant atmosphere. It’s a lovely place to unwind, close to both the lake and the center.
