Park Diamond Apartments

The staff were friendly, and despite a few issues, this was a nice place to stay. It's in a pleasant area, right on the beach, though a few kilometers from the center. The furniture is new, but there's no table or chairs for meals. The mattress is hard but manageable, and the towels need replacing. I was told they change them regularly, so that may not be a problem. Finding the apartments is awkward because two numbering systems are mixed, and consecutive numbers aren't always together, which makes it difficult to give guests their apartment on arrival. The shower is handheld, with nowhere to keep soap or shampoo within reach. I understand they may provide that eventually.

On arrival, they encouraged us to cancel our booking on booking.com, saying they paid a small fee and could give us a small discount. During check-in, they said a connection issue meant we couldn't pay by card and told us where to withdraw cash. The sheets were dirty, there was mold in the bathroom, and the drain didn't carry the water away. I wouldn't book here again. If I could, I'd rate it 0/5.

The place was neat and clean, but a lot of it is so run down that you can't really go inside anymore. It seems to be coasting on the old glory it once had.

We paid the full price for two nights, comparable to a hotel room that usually includes breakfast, but the stay was deeply disappointing. The apartment was dirty, with stained towels and mold in the shower. The bed was very uncomfortable, with a hard, worn mattress and flat, unsupportive pillows. There was no internet for the entire stay, which was frustrating. I've stayed in many places, and this was among the worst for comfort, cleanliness, and amenities. I can't recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, restful stay.
