Zarko made us feel welcome every time, with his kindness, friendliness, and helpful knowledge. We’ve returned several years in a row and will come back again. The location is close to the main square, restaurants, and bars, with lovely lake views, yet it stays quiet.

The shared kitchen is great, and everything was very clean. Zak puts a lot of effort into helping guests get the most out of their stay. It’s right in the old town, though there’s the same short, steep walk up to the front gate as at most places around here. A really peaceful guest house and excellent value in Ohrid. I’d recommend staying here.

We stayed for New Year’s Eve 2022. The balcony looked out over the lake, and the place was clean and spacious enough. Parking in Ohrid’s old town is almost impossible, but the owner will definitely find you a spot in the center. Thanks, we’ll visit again 🎉🎉

The place is basic, but it has everything you need, and it’s close to town. Zarko is so accommodating and helpful to all his visitors. Most of my 5-star rating is really a tribute to him, he gets a lot out of this budget stay and helps make the experience enjoyable. I’d stay here again if I’m in N.Macedonia.
