We were left scrambling for another place after 2 PM in a town we didn't know, and finding a suitable apartment took hours. It cost more, and precious time from our short vacation was gone. This happened because the apartment we booked, with three separate single beds across two rooms, had apparently been rented to someone else. The receptionist showed us a one-room place with a sofa bed and only two beds for three people, one of them a double. When we objected, she was arrogant and unfriendly, and told us we could look elsewhere if we didn't like the room. Later, the property also demanded payment for one night's stay through Booking.com. We didn't pay. Be careful with your reservation, and don't give them your credit card details.

Hours of our short vacation went into finding somewhere else, and we ended up paying more for a suitable apartment. We arrived at Villa Mia Suites on August 9, 2023, expecting the apartment we had booked. Instead, the receptionist showed us one room with a bed and a sofa bed, which amounted to two beds for three people, and one was actually a double. We needed three separate beds. Before we set off, Michał Skwarek had checked with the property about the room and received confirmation. When we raised the issue, they said the three-bed room had already been rented to other people. The receptionist added that if we didn't like the offered room, we could find another place. We were in an unfamiliar area after 2 PM, so it took a few hours to find somewhere suitable.

It's comfortable and clean, with friendly hosts, right in the old town. Parking is the catch: you'll need to park in the city and pay 400 denars per day.
