I felt very safe as a single woman at Villa Iva and around the neighborhood. Ljupka (said Eupka) and Vele were probably the best part. They were generous and kind, easy to connect with, and offered me fruit and coffee. We ended up friends. The gated entrance through the shaded garden is lovely, and the rooms are clean and have everything you need. The neighborhood is outside the city center, with restaurants and cafes within two blocks. I walked to the main attractions without any trouble. Such a serene place, I love it here and highly recommend it.

It’s cheap and the rooms are clean. The area isn’t interesting, and the owners weren’t especially professional or friendly. Don’t expect more than that.
