The free access to the 50-metre Olympic pool just steps from my door was the highlight. Swimming lengths there before breakfast felt like pure luxury, and I’ve never had that kind of pool at a hotel before. Hotel Centar was also comfortable and welcoming, with spacious rooms, plenty of parking, and a great location right in the heart of the city. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious, and the rooms were excellent value. That pool made the stay unforgettable. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Breakfast was okay, with some eggs and bread, a little salami, and a few sweets. The room, though, was freezing. The AC couldn’t warm it enough, and the heating system didn’t work at all. With winter temperatures down to -2 degrees, warm rooms and extra blankets really matter. We had just one blanket for two beds. There was no hot water kettle, and the shower ran on a boiler that wasn’t suitable for a large family. The furniture was outdated, and we found the price far too high.

The pool access was amazing, it was an 'Olympic' sized pool at the hotel. The place was clean and tidy, with good air-con and a nice touch of free tea and coffee at reception around the clock. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the city centre, and there are shops and cash machines nearby.

Great value for the price. The staff were really welcoming, the rooms were nice and very clean, and it’s close to the center and easy to find.

The facilities were clean and welcoming, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast had enough variety to keep our family of five happy. Definitely recommend.
