The staff were excellent about sorting out problems quickly, and the breakfast was great, with borek too. For a three-star place at such a low price, I think it deserves a high score. The manager even checked in with us, and I told him we were satisfied. :) We had to switch rooms twice. The first had an annoying noise from the heat pump, and the next smelled bad in the bathroom, probably a plumbing issue, though it was spacious. The final room had no problems, but was a little smaller. The larger rooms didn't feel cramped to me, though the single-bed options were a bit tight. The carpet runner outside our room wasn't secured and I fell three times. I told the staff and they fixed it right away. A towel hook was loose in the last room, and they came to fix that immediately too.

I've stayed here twice and would come back. It's in the heart of Skopje's old town, in the old Turkish part, about a two-minute walk from the old bridge, and has its own free parking. The room was good and clean. Breakfast was okay, though it could be better.

I slept very peacefully, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had lots of variety and was really tasty, with typical Balkan food like halal cured meats, cheeses, pickles, pepper dips, olives, bread, coffee and juice. The hotel is great value and well placed beside the old bazaar, a short walk from the main attractions in the centre. The bus station is about a mile away, so I walked there. Some reviews call the area unsafe, but they seem very old to me. Maybe it has changed a lot over the last few years, because I found it totally safe and would recommend the hotel.

The staff were great, and the location is superb, right at the entrance to the old bazaar and close to other cultural places to visit in Skopje. For a Western European, the quality for the price is good.

It's in a great spot, close to everything. The breakfast needs improvement for a three-star hotel, and the bed in the room makes too much noise. If you're looking for a view, don't stay there.
