The reception woman took time to explain ways to visit Makta Canyon and the Millennium Cross. She printed a map with the bus stops and gave us the bus timetable, and everyone at the hotel and restaurant was kind and helpful. The hotel is exceptionally clean and right in the heart of Skopje. Breakfast is served at London Bistro, which they have an agreement with, and the portions are huge. There's a 20% discount there, and plenty of tasty breakfast choices. I've rarely stayed somewhere this clean with such helpful people, and highly recommend it.

The breakfast was the big surprise, and I ended up eating there all three mornings because it was so good. The selection was nice and it was presented really well. The restaurant staff were welcoming too, despite what some reviews said, so maybe things have improved. The hotel sits right by Macedonia square, facing the back of the huge horse statue, which is hard to beat as a tourist. The room was basic but clean and fine for sleeping. Best of all, the bathroom radiator actually worked, so my washed clothes dried really quickly. Reception was friendly and made us feel welcome, unlike places such as sophia or spots with no reception at all.

Hotel London was a great place to stay in Skopje. It sits right in the centre, so getting around to see the city was easy. The room was clean, modern and comfortable, and the staff were professional, polite and ready to help.

The best thing about the hotel is its position right on Macedonia Square. The place itself is basic, with just a reception desk, and I didn't see other staff. There's no lift, which made it hard to carry my luggage. Breakfast comes from the restaurant next door and is one dish with coffee or juice. Fine for one night.

Kateriha was such a help and made our stay much more enjoyable. She was always ready with a smile and suggested a great ethnic restaurant for dinner. The location is perfect, just minutes from several tourist attractions, with a great restaurant on site and in the surrounding area.
