The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English well. The room was about what you'd expect for the price, though the toilet lid was broken. The location is great, right by the entrance to the old bazaar and within walking distance of the main sights. The call to prayer started around 5 am and woke us up every morning. With all due respect, that made it hard to rest, and visitors who are sensitive to early noise might be better off staying elsewhere.

Back for our second stay and still really happy with it. The place is always clean, and there's WiFi and air conditioning. The staff are consistently kind and helpful.

I saw plenty of terrible reviews, but my experience was brilliant. The room was clean, the shower worked fine, and the place felt secure. After two weeks in the Balkans, I noticed tobacco smells everywhere, and I don't even smoke. The staff took care of everything I needed, though there wasn't much I asked for.

The hotel is in a quiet part of the old town. But the rooms had a strong cigarette smell, including the beds, linen, and towels. The shower didn't work properly, there was no bathroom exhaust fan, and the ceiling was mouldy.

The place was really dirty, and I found the workers very stupid. One night was enough to make me sick. They said 23 euros covered 24 hours, but then asked us to leave after 13. It smelled musty, apparently because there was no insulation, and the location was awful. They weren't clean or honest. If you run into a problem, call the police. Good luck surviving a stay there.
