Hotel Tim's Apartments

The hotel itself was fine, but the parking information we were given was misleading. At arrival, the receptionist said to leave the car at the zoo because parking at the hotel needed to be reserved in advance, which hadn't been made clear online. We did as advised and our car got towed. It caused a lot of stress, wasted time, and an unnecessary expense. Guests need accurate, current parking guidance, especially when unclear advice can leave them at risk of a fine or having their car towed. This was very disappointing and could have been avoided.

The rooms were tidy and had great air conditioning. Breakfast was amazing, and I liked the dish so much I ate the same one every day. Nice restaurants are nearby, though it's a 30-minute walk to the main center, which isn't too bad. I booked a taxi through the hotel after they warned me airport taxis charge double, only to find that the hotel charged me double instead. I wasn't happy about that, but I'd still recommend the place.

For three nights I had a well-kept room and impeccable service, and the price was good in low season. The location is convenient too, with plenty of excellent restaurants and bars in the Debar Maalo area within walking distance.

We came all the way from Australia for my son's tennis tournament in Skopje, so choosing the right place mattered. Tim’s hotel was a great choice: spotless, comfortable, with excellent rooms and comfortable beds. The bedding really does make a difference to a good stay. The staff were fantastic, from Renata and the young boy with glasses who spoke excellent English, to the kitchen ladies making breakfast each morning and the lovely cleaner who greeted me every day. They're a credit to the hotel. Well done, and give them a pay rise for a job well done! The tennis family from OZ.
